The Company

A small chain of health clubs nationwide, our Client offers first rate facilities at the premium end of the fitness market.

The Role

We are currently seeking a Duty Manager to look after the smooth running of the club day to day. With this role, you will also be responsible for the customer service levels of the club. As Duty Manager, you will be an ambassador for the club, member facing and a leader to the rest of the team. You will be expected to open and close the club and ensure the club reaches a satisfactory level of care. This will include response time of comments card, mystery shoppers reports and general feeling amongst members.

The Person

The ideal person must demonstrate a good track record in leisure. Candidates must have a Pool Plant Operators (ppo) qualification and an excellent track record in customer service - you will be the responsible for this area in the club. To be considered for this Duty Manager role, you need to be self motivated, have an eye for detail and flexible. Customer service skills must be of a premium and communicating with members will be a necessary part of the role. Due to early starts and late finishes, candidates must have their own transport
