Treasury Manager - GibraltarA new Gibraltar-based bank are on the hunt for a Treasury Manager in Gibraltar. Specialising in asset based lending to companies operating in the property sector in the UK and Ireland it will also offer fixed term deposits and other services to ultra high net worth individuals, institutions and financial intermediaries world-wide. The bank operates an open, non-hierarchical structure in which employees, even if fulfilling a specialist role, are also able and encouraged to play a full team role in the overall management, control and operation of the Bank. Purpose of the Role
•To develop and manage the treasury function for the Bank
•To be responsible for risk management of the treasury function
•To advise and guide other members of staff and directors on treasury issues, and in particular to report to, and advise, the Assets and Liabilities Committee (ALCO) on treasury matters
•To ensure compliance at all times with internal and external guidelines, policies and obligations, notably internal guidelines for risk set by ALCO, and regulatory requirements in respect of liquidity ratios, large exposures etc.
•To be the primary source of training and advice to all staff on treasury matters.
